Simply put, Generation Beta is defined as those born between 2025 and 2039.
- Generation Beta will be born from 2025 to 2039
- By 2035 they will make up 16% of the global population
- They will be the children of younger Gen Ys (millennials) and older Gen Zs
- Many will live to see the 22nd century
What does that mean for the Play experiences we should offer? I have no more of an idea than anyone else, however it is something we need to think about. Should the play we offer change? Do we have to reimagine a different environment for our children?
Our new children will be defined by the events, technologies, and cultural shifts of their time. Generation Beta represents a pivotal chapter in our evolving world. But who will Generation Beta be and what factors will shape their values, behaviours, and aspirations?
This session will share thoughts and ideas around play with a light shining on the need to adapt and modify our approach.
Play is rooted reality, not fantasy, as everything that our children are curious about and imagine – even the stuff of fairy tales –comes from their previous experience, or their shared experiences with others.
The richer a child’s experiences, the richer their curiosity, imagination and eagerness to engage. ‘The more a child sees, hears, and experiences, the more he gathers, comes to know and understands. The more elements of reality they have in their experience, the more stimulated their curiosity and productive their imagination will be.
“Generation Beta is set to redefine innovation and connectivity, blending technology with humanity in ways that previous generations have only begun to envision. They are the architects of tomorrow, crafting a world that learns from the past and embraces a sustainable, inclusive future.”
It’s time to imagine a new future.
