Visual Impact – Training Day – Glasgow

£100.00 ex. VAT

The spaces and places we share with our babies and toddlers should be one that provides the emotional, physical, and developmental support needed for optimal growth and well-being. We should focus on creating a safe, loving, and responsive atmosphere where babies can thrive, explore, and develop.

There is much research suggesting that more than every before the visual environment is increasingly important. Our children’s brains look for visual stimulations, their communication strategies are based around visual clues and their interactions are led by visual connection.

This session will focus on the spaces and places for play we set up and the visual impact they have.

During the session we will:

  • Discuss the best type of spaces to encourage development.
  • Explore a range of ideas to create spaces that encourage and develop curiosity, exploration and experimentation.
  • Consider how environments can foster a sense of wellbeing and calmness while still being exciting and interesting.
  • Consider the importance of stimulation in physical, linguistic, social and emotional development.
