Developing Concentration

Many of our youngest children struggle to focus on a task, concentrate on what they are listening to, looking at or doing and their levels of attention are almost zero. Developing concentration in our little ones is essential for helping them succeed in their learning, during their play, and in carrying out other activities within their day. During this training we will share ideas to help build concentration skills.

We will explore strategies, to help young children strengthen their concentration skills and set them up for success in learning and other areas of their lives.

We will also consider how we notice and support the various levels of attention our children engage in. Attention describes how much focus or mental energy our children are able to give to a particular task or stimulus.
